There are two winter leagues running this year, a pairs league and an individuals league. Each will have 4 match dates with reserve dates already set. The registration fee is £35, £10 due on booking, the balance of £25 due before 30th Sept. The first match fee is £30, the second match fee is £18 and the third and fourth match will be 'FOC' - paid for already from fees already paid. No fees are refundable.
Usual match rules & fishery rules apply.
Ind League dates: 30/10, 13/11, 18/12, 5/2 - reserve date 5/3 (& Sun 20th Feb if 2 matches are cancelled) Pairs League dates: 6/11, 4/12, 29/1, 19/2 - reserve date 12/3 (& Sun 27/2 if 2 matches are cancelled)
There will be no dropped points/matches & no stand in can be used.
We aim to have 20 anglers on each league who intend to fish all 4 matches, if an angler notifies us of missing a match, but is to fish the next, their match fees will be altered accordingly and a premium of £5 may become due.
Should an angler not turn up without prior notice, we reserve the right to let their place for the next matches on an open style basis allowing that new angler to fish for the match pools, but not to participate in the league pools.
Each league match will have payouts as follows: £50 match win and four section wins of £30. There will be a £10 Golden Peg - but a section win is enough to win this.
League payouts as follows: IND LEAGUE £100, £80, £70, £60, £40 & £30, PAIRS LEAGUE £160, £100, £80, £40. Both being on a points basis, with weights to separate joint places. Monies will be altered according to attendence/participants.
For the Individuals League, each angler will fish each of 4 sections over the 4 match league & will therefore fish with those same 5 anglers each match. For the Pairs League after 2 matches each of the pair will have fished two sections ie all 4 sections between them, again with the same anglers in each section. The 4 sections will be fished again by the pair over the next 2 matches, but a draw before the third match will mean the anglers in each section should have changed, but will stay the same over the third & fourth matches.
Please note that full details will be available in print by 1st August from the fishery or by e mail. We reserve the right to change any detail prior to and after these are available, but we intend to make no changes once the league has commenced.
